Trade Deals

Trump can pull out of NAFTA, however it would be nearly impossible to negotiate a new deal. He plans to pull out of NAFTA in his 200th day in office. But to get another deal negotiated, it would have to go through Congress. Further, the Prime Ministers of Canada and Mexico aren’t willing to negotiate a new deal. If Trump were to act recklessly, he could start a trade war with Mexico. Because the TPP has not been passed yet, he can go back on it.
